I must admit my favorite pieces of wood art I own are those clearly carved by hand. It seemed natural.You can learned a lot from an artist hands. Wood art  is meant to connect the viewer with familiar concepts like family,religion…etc.People are more likely to readily connect to an object that they see all the time than with a wood sculpture that is unique. It’s great to see something beautiful out of a piece of wood that had its own life once but can still be used for something else.
